But it was in the second innings when all the action took place. First, Sri Lanka collapsed to just  138 all out in 66.5 overs. But then, set just 136 to win, Pakistan failed to get there, being bowled out for just 114. Sri Lankan Spinner Rangana Herath took the headlines with 11 wickets in the match, which took him past 400 career test wickets.The result leaves both sides with much to fight for as the 2nd test starts on Friday.
